There are many blog contests run by bloggers going around the blogosphere in hopes of driving traffic to their sites and at the same time increase their Google or Alexa rankings.

I’m not going to criticize them for their efforts because I would like to do something similar myself some time soon!

Romance Tracker is running a blog contest and it doesn’t require very much. Write a post, like what I am doing here and link to their blog with the word “love” as the anchor text. How difficult is that? For my effort I stand a chance of winning $100! Cool! Also, if I subscribe to their RSS feed, I get an extra entry to the contest! So why not, eh?

I love participating in blog contests.  I have entered in a few and have even won a watch from one of these contests!  :-)  I hope to win money, though!

Allan of Allan’s World Movies is running a  fun contest where you stand to win $15.  All you need to do is link his blog to your blogroll.  You get one entry if you link him to your blogroll which is on a separate page, two entries if you link him on your sidebar blogroll, five entries if you write about this contest on your blog.  So to stand a greater chance of winning, do all three and your chances will be multiplied!  Check out Allan’s blog for more details.

Arun, over at Make Money Online, has invited me to take part in his contest called  The Golden Egg Contest.   I think this is a great contest because the winner of this contest will receive a lifetime of free webhosting with all the bells and whistles associated with a paid web hosting.

All you need to do to enter this contest is write a review about his blog, with all the required links of course.  Arun’s blog is fairly new but I think he is off to a good start.  He has tips for the beginner on how to start making money online, like using Google Adsense, and how to double revenue from Adsense.

Eventhough Arun’s blog is fairly new, I think he knows what he is doing.  Look at what he is offering for this contest!  I am sure I am not the only one who won’t mind winning a lifetime of free webhosting!

I have never done any reviews on any site before, but with the enticing possibility of winning a $100 for reviewing one, I am sold! Make Money from Home is offering $100 for the best review written about his site.

I have heard ads on the radio, seen ads on TV and even seen little boards pinned to utility poles about making money from home. Every time I see or hear such an ad, the only word that comes to my mind is “scam”.

But Make Money from Home is changing my mind about what making money from home is, and how to actually make money from home.

I was impressed that he made $10,850 in July on places like ebay, Adsense, domain parking, and affiliate programs.

On his site he has some very useful articles about and links to the sites where he earns his money. I never knew that you can get paid for answering surveys! And not only that, he as the person who sends another person to take the survey gets paid too. One way he is doing to increase the number of people to take the surveys is by using Adwords or its alternative.

What is a “mini-site”? I don’t know but I am learning about what it is from Make Money from Home.

I am most definitely bookmarking Make Money from Home. His articles and tips are very informative and useful and who knows I will be able to make $10, 850 in one month one day from working at home!

I am having so much fun with these blog contests! I mean I didn’t know they existed till a few days ago, and today I found a site called Contest Blogger who has compiled a whole list of contests that bloggers are offering on their blogs!  I think this guy hit the jackpot with such a blog!
