Military Hair Cut
There was one other thing that I noticed as I watched Prince Harry and other British soldiers returning from Afghanistan.
The hair cut, or the lack of it, of the British army and the hair cut we are used to seeing the US Marines sport. The US marines have that close buzz cut and the British army looked like they can keep their shaggy look.
Or could it be that when they left for Afghanistan they had left with a buzz cut but came back looking all shaggy? Were they too busy being soldiers in Afghanistan or was it possible that there was no one in their company who knew how to cut hair?

It might be a point of interest to see that the soldiers’ hair isn’t cut to perfection, but the most important thing to think about is that they are out there protecting us. We wouldn’t want to be where they are!

Unlike in the Marines Corp, there are no haircut standards in the British army. It’s up to each unit commander to choose what style he wants his men to have.
