School Fundraising

Every fall my kids’ pre-school has a fund raising project where you order things like cookies, costume jewelry or books from a catalog and a percentage of the sales goes to the school. I am ashamed to say that I have not purchased anything from the catalog thus far. The main reason being, there was nothing in the catalog that interests me.

The school could most definitely do with better school fundraising ideas. I might not have been reluctant to spend some money on something if there were a lot more choices from the catalog.

Today I discovered that I can still contribute to the school by enrolling with Schoolpop which is the leading provider of tuition crediting, student loan repayment and nontraditional fundraising programs for schools and nonprofits nationwide. Every purchase I make through Schoolpop’s participating merchants and service partners, a percentage of all that I spent goes to the school of my choice, and in my case, my kids’ school.

Now I don’t have to feel so bad when I fail to buy anything from the catalog that my kids’ school has as part of their part raising project.
