Bye bye bed
Last Sunday we gave away Duncan’s crib/toddler bed to Christina, my friend Kathy’s daughter. Christina is pregnant with her first child, and we offered her Duncan’s crib and she took up the offer.
Duncan took his last nap on his bed that afternoon and he cried a little when we told him we were giving away the bed. He loved his bed but he hadn’t been sleeping in it at night for a few weeks now. He rolls about too much when he sleeps and that bed was getting too small for him.
We told Duncan that he was no longer a baby and that the bed was too small for him now. Daddy will get you a new bed, we told him. We are giving your bed away so that a baby can use it. That pacified him and he was happy to help Christina and Aaron, her husband, carry part of his bed to the van.
Yes, both my babies are growing up and we have given away many of their baby stuff. It’s kinda sad because that phase of their life is now over and we move on to the next phase. They are now in Pre-kindergarten and doing homework once a week.

Nya meh,sentimental value. Kawan aku ba Indiana lama dah meri tauka nyual perengka anak iya. Siko nya kelalu mayoh perengka. Anak siko aja, ni enda berabis ati bebeli ka barang.
Sida gari udah diberi ka orang magang. Di donate ngagai church awak ka ulih dibai ka Mexico, diberi ngagai org ka miskin agi din.

enti baka mentua aku ti indu,cukup sayau iya ke barang anak mit especially barang anak-anak iya maia mit suba.Lampin kain ti dikena laki aku masa baby agik manah disimpan iya,sampai ulih dikena Ezra nyentuk ke diatu.Barang mainan,biarpun dah jai,agik meh disimpan iya..”Sayau sereta nda tau muai barang anak mit sebarang.Mali!”Ko Iya.

Sister in laws aku baka nya meh .. siru endar enggau utai, tang diberi ngagai orang ga enti orang beguna. Enggi kami ditu enggai nyadi disimpan lama, nadai alai nyimpan! Enggai ka betimbun ila!
